“ Winding your way down on Dana Street. Light in your head and dead on your feet, well it's another beautiful day you'll drink the day away and forget about everything. A true old school coffee shop that keeps it real and you can tell by their menu. Drinks ordered were the Caffe Valencia and Iris Cream latte with one in a mug and the other in a cool looking glass. The Irish drink was simple and flavorful with its cream flavoring. The Valencia was a cappuccino with orange and nutmeg and a well balanced cute cup with both flavors. Atmosphere had chill sleepy town vibes and the service was good. Outside seating available if you like to enjoy your Java alfresco. And that's my take, Peace. ”
“ This coffee shop is legendary! I have been going here since I was a little kid. My Dad Michael owned Quality Engraving & Awards Co. across the street so we'd always start the day with Dana. I remember there was one point they had amazing milkshakes, so you know that's every kids dream breakfast. I also remember the barista had a Mohawk, so I thought the place was extra cool. I don't get to go there as much these days, but if I could I'd be lounging outside with a coffee and convo every morning. ”
“ This place somehow continues to be a hidden gem, still yet to be discovered by many. I lived in the bay area for 9 years, and only discovered Dana St roasting in my last 3 years by word of mouth. I'm doing you a favor by doing the same ;) I relocated to the Tahoe area and still make it a point to drop in for a latte or chai or cafe borgia. I even purchase their espresso beans from time to time so I can make it in Tahoe to fill my hearts desire. Chai is authentic, steeped in spices for several hours with just a touch of honey. Because of this, it's spicy, but DELICIOUS and very homey. Their espresso bases drinks are phenomenal and I'm picky. ”
“ No frills cafe. Spicy chai. Pay in cash. Interior has a couple of tables. No music plays inside the cafe so if you like a quieter space or like to hear background noise, this is the spot. I was craving a chai and out of all the cafes along the street, I chose Dana Street. Now this is not a weak kind of chai, we are talking about a chai that packs a punch and would sure wake you up. I like my tea sweet so I added honey and it was great! It was very reasonably priced. I would come here again to try their other drinks and specialty roasts. ”
“ came here to study a bit and it was spacious with lots of tables and seats. they had live music and it was so wholesome experiencing the locals coming out to support and enjoy their afternoon. latte was solid and well priced compared to most coffee shops nowadays! staff were really friendly. such a sweet vibe!! ”
“ With each sip, you'll notice the unmistakable taste and aroma of coffee beans, providing a refreshing experience. Their cappuccino strikes a perfect balance--creamy foam without overshadowing the espresso. The cozy ambiance creates a laid-back, neighborhood coffee shop feel, complete with ample indoor seating and outdoor options on sunny days. Plus, the friendly baristas add to the welcoming atmosphere. They don't allow dog but they are very respectful about it. They offer your dog a treat too. We got some coffee for our house machine and they grind it for us. ”
“ Came by for coffee the other day and it was a decent experience. Dana Street Roasting Company appears to be a more dated coffee shop. Parking is available in the private surface lots or on the streets. There is seating both indoors and outdoors although the vibe is definitely more dated... Ordered an iced mocha and it was tasty. Espresso was smooth and the beverage wasn't too sweet. Perfect. There is a a surcharge for credit cards though... ”
“ Wowza. This was my first time at Dana Street in downtown MV. I got their Mexican Mocha, and it was great! Not overly sweet and the hint of spice at the end was just what I was craving today. I usually get a drip coffee with maybe oatmilk for my first time when I try a coffeehouse, so I will definitively be back to try that out. The ambiance is very casual and you can see many loyal customers pay their daily visits there. The service is slower, chill, and very friendly. So if you're in the mood for a small town coffee bar (not in a rush), do check them out! ”
“ Great selection of flavors. The gingerbread latte is sweet like the cookie but not too sweet. The banana mocha has the subtle taste of the banana mixed with the chocolate. Friendly staff and great prices. There's no indoor seating but it's in downtown Mountain View so take a stroll with your coffee. Overall, great place to get coffee. ”
